Case Studies

High Performance Computing (HPC) has traditionally been the preserve of physicists and engineers, running large simulations either to replace expensive experiments or to gain insights into events that could not be measured reliably or directly. While physics-based simulations continue to be a large part of the HPC activity, many other areas have benefited from HPC developments during the past decade or so.

We are working with researchers who use the ARC service to gather case studies which show the richness of the computational-based science in Oxford and to highlight the possibilities HPC has for science.
